The Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) is a two-year academic program that provides in-depth knowledge of the science and techniques behind pharmacy practice and medicine management. The program offers an overview of theoretical principles and practices in pharmacy, covering core subjects such as Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, and Pharmaceutics.

Upon completion of the program, learners can:

1. Start practicing as pharmacists in India, working at drug stores in government hospitals, private hospitals, clinics, community health centers, or private drug stores.
2. Check prescriptions made by doctors, dispense drugs to patients, provide advice and directions, maintain drug stock, manage accounts, and maintain inventory.
3. Start their own private drug store.
4. Work in pharmaceutical companies in divisions such as manufacturing, process control, quality control, and marketing.
5. Work as medical representatives.
