Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) – Galgotias University
The School of Education at Galgotias University is proud to offer a full-time and regular face-to-face undergraduate program, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), spanning two academic years and four semesters. This pre-service professional teacher education program is designed to equip aspiring educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to become effective teachers in secondary and senior secondary schools. Through a comprehensive curriculum and hands-on training, students enrolled in the B.Ed. program will gain the expertise needed to excel in the field of education and make a positive impact on the lives of their future students.
As per NCTE Regulations 2014 eligibility criterion for B.Ed. admission is a minimum fifty percent (50%) marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanity/Commerce, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
Note:
1- Any graduation degree holder with 50% marks (for Engineering with Science and Mathematics & 55% marks) could take admission in B.Ed. program.
2-All those candidates who have appeared in their final year graduation/PG examination and the result is awaited may also apply for B.Ed. program.
3- For SC/ST candidates minimum percentage is 45%.
