Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.-Hons./Research) – St. Joseph University
The Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program, also known as BSW-Hons./Research, is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and values needed for a career in social work. This program focuses on preparing students for entry-level positions in various social work settings, such as community organizations, schools, hospitals, and government agencies.
The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including social welfare policies, human behavior and development, diversity and social justice, and research methods in social work. Students also engage in fieldwork placements, where they apply classroom learning in real-world settings under the supervision of experienced social workers.
