Diverse Program Portfolio

NERIM's journey has been marked by continuous expansion. It began with the introduction of the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in July 1993 and progressed to include the Two-Year Full-Time Master of Business Administration (MBA) program under Dibrugarh University affiliation in 1999. The institution expanded its offerings to include the Three-Year Full-Time Master of Computer Application (MCA) program in 2001.

In response to the rising demand for professional education, NERIM secured affiliations with Dibrugarh University for specialized undergraduate programs, including the Three-Year Full-Time Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and the Three-Year Full-Time Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) programs from 2004. Furthermore, in 2006, it introduced the 5-Year Integrated BA LLB (Hons) program, gaining approval from the Bar Council of India (BCI) in 2008.

In 2012, NERIM expanded its academic horizons into the fields of Social Science, Commerce, and Legal Education by introducing the Master in Social Work (MSW), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), and Master of Law (LL.M) programs, all under the affiliation of Dibrugarh University. In 2015, the institution further enriched its academic offerings with the approval for the Two-Year Full-Time Master's degree program in Applied Psychology.

In 2004, NERIM marked its association with Gauhati University by introducing the B.Ed Program, which received approval from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) in the same year. In 2014, the institution continued to broaden its academic portfolio by offering Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs in Commerce education, leading to the B.Com and M.Com courses, all under Gauhati University's affiliation.

Affiliation to Dibrugarh University and Gauhati University

NERIM Group of Institutions maintains affiliations with two esteemed state universities, Dibrugarh University and Gauhati University. These universities, established by the Government of Assam, play a vital role in shaping the educational landscape of the North Eastern region.

Dibrugarh University: Established in 1965 under the Dibrugarh University Act, Dibrugarh University is a premier teaching cum affiliating university in the North Eastern Region. It is located in Rajabheta, just five kilometers south of Dibrugarh town and is well-connected by various modes of transportation. The university offers a wide range of professional courses and has been a pioneer in introducing 5-year integrated courses in Law in Assam.

Gauhati University: The oldest and largest university in the North East, Gauhati University was founded in 1948 under the Gauhati University Act 1947. It has a long history of academic excellence and serves as a teaching and affiliating university with reach across the Seven Sister States of the North East. The university's sprawling campus is located about 15 kilometers from the city center of Guwahati and is strategically positioned on the banks of the Brahmaputra River.

Approvals from Regulatory Bodies

B-School with Excellent Placement Record

The Institute has a dedicated Placement Cell which provides Placement Assistance to all the students enrolled in different programmes of the Institute. This includes placement after successfully completing their Masters Programme and Concurrent field work after each semester. The Placement Officer acts as a catalyst in facilitating the process of interaction between the students and the prospective representatives of the concerned recruiting Houses. Both on-campus and off-campus interviews are arranged regularly. Several Multinationals and reputed National Firms belonging to different sectors have been regularly recruiting students from NERIM Group of Institutions from time to time. Since its inception more than 500 Corporate Houses have recruited students till date.
