Recognizing the scarcity of architecture colleges in the northeast region, Ar. Abani Das, the Managing Trustee of Dona Foundation, took the initiative to establish GCAP in Guwahati, Assam. Founded in 2006, GCAP is dedicated to the states of North East India, particularly the students of Assam, providing them with a platform to pursue a career in architecture.

Rooted in the principles of quality education and the desire to nurture talent, GCAP's curriculum emphasizes the integration of aesthetics, design, comfort, planning, endurance, and technical expertise. GCAP's campus, situated in the scenic region of Assam, offers students the necessary facilities and surroundings to foster growth and skill development. We facilitate collaboration with other institutions, such as Kamala Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture and Environment Studies in Mumbai and CEPT University in Ahmedabad, for study tours and educational programs, enriching our students' learning experiences.
