Bethany School, situated in Guwahati, the capital of Assam, was established on January 15, 2000, with a humble beginning of 16 students in the KG section. Under the leadership of Sr. Pushpa Joseph BS, the school, located in the Kampur (M) district of Assam, is part of the Archdiocese of Guwahati. Over the years, the school witnessed continual growth, with the addition of new classes and an increasing student population.

Bethany School is a proud unit of the Bethany Education Society (BES), affiliated with the congregation headquartered at Bethany Convent in Mangalore. The school, managed by dedicated teachers, is part of a broader network that includes Balwadi centers, Pre-Primary, Primary, High schools, Higher Secondary schools, and colleges. Additionally, it extends its services to vocational training centers and serves as a promotional school for non-school joining children, enabling them to continue their education in formal schools.
